What are you taking with you into 2017 Tiffany? That’s what I asked myself 11:50 last night.
I started a list of who, what things and what thoughts are not allowed or invited on my 2017 trip.
I’ve spent the last week in silence. We left LA Christmas morning to head East and I have spent the week in almost silence. Focused on my family, laughter, some dreams and fear.
I am only taking lessons with me into 2017 that’s it. I think of it like the animal that sheds their skin. They almost reemerge into the new season as a completely new animal. Unapologetic for the new look, new feel and new objectives.
I feel the same way.
I will not apologize my story nor mission, I will own it.
If I want my family, friends community, and those I have not met to stop thinking small I have to lead the way.
I am afraid of this year up coming journey. It’s bigger than me. There are too many out there that don’t believe. That want to give up. That are being encouraged to think small, feel small and be small. I know their journey well, I used to live it.
I am being called to a higher standard of serving. I believe that we are all called to serve. Just because we don’t do it, doesn’t mean we are not called.
God gave us our journeys for a reason. Own it, the good the bad and the ugly. It’s your’s. It made us who we are.
I am going to use it to serve others until the day I die and pray that my story lives on in legacy.
I am asking my community to do the same, to use their story to serve. To make those weak stronger and in return the world a better place.
I sat on new years night making a list of the things I am done with, of what’s not part of the solution but part of the problem.
Once I am done with this list I am throwing it in this fire it front of me and then watch it be consumed and to be no more. I’ll be done with every item on that list.
It’s all choice. It’s my choice. I am so fortunate to have a choice and to know I have a choice.
