What celebrity is that?
In 2010 I had a super nuts idea. I thought I was capable of building something more than a multiple six figure business. Don’t get me wrong, I had made some money BUT the reality is that I still had to show up everyday and had just built myself a well paying Job.
I heard there was some low market share in the technology field just a bit north of Charlotte NC. At this point I had learned a whole lot, was investing in my own knowledge and skills and thought that this was the perfect time to build something bigger. I believed that I was ready to try to build a seven figure business.
I invested everything we had to do this. We leave Florida and move to NC a state where we had no family, friends and or ties of any sort. It was tough, but I was after a dream.
With the pursuit of all dreams there are always sacrifices or casualties like any war.
I lost a lot on this journey.
Man, I cried at times that I simply was not prepared for.
Let’s face it, I was in a fight. We were at war here.
The questions stands strong… What are you willing to fight for.
Last year October I sold what we owned in a little over two weeks and moved across the country with nothing but what was in the back of our car in the pursuit of new dreams….my families, my daughter wants to be on file and my husband is a professional comedian.
Look at him today.
It’s been 7 months and last night he went on stage at the Ice House (one of the most famous comedy clubs in the country) right after Arsenio Hall!
Often when we pursue our dreams, we make a partial attempt. We are hoping and planning for it to work out, but we are also for it now work out? Really does that make sense. You are preparing for the success of all the hard work, but then also prepare for the exact opposite simultaneously.
Can you imagine what life would be like if you just put all efforts, planning, ideas, strength and resources into ONE single area.
You are either all in or your all out. The middle ground doesn’t exist, it is a myth.
