WHY WHY WHY!

There is a tendency for small business in general to except mediocrity. I’m not saying that they except it or actually want to it on purpose but I think they except it by not really being clear on the value of their own business. It’s like whether you’re one person 10 people or hundred people you’ve got vendors. Whether you are using an online service, someone down the street or you’re using a big national company you’ve got to hold those vendors to the exact same standards that you provide to your customers anything below that is simply unacceptable. This is a quickie so here are three areas in your business where mediocrity at ANY level just won’t flipping work.

  1. Say NO to mediocre vendors.

You accept green right??? You work hard for your money you really really do every dollar every thank you every customer every smile every everything so why would you spend that money with a vendor who doesn’t treat youThe same. It’s like this I do know there are times where we may be willing to except mediocrity because we feel like you know what well we’re only one person or were not as big as their other clients or I’m only spending $50 with this guy what does he expect. Just cut that stuff out it’s really simple think bigger of yourself, your business. Your money is green and it is just as good as any other customer that they have spending money you deserve the exact same attention respect and dedication and if you’re not then it’s time for us to find new vendors.

2. Say NO to mediocre employees

If you were not going to be providing anything mediocre you should not be excepting mediocre or mediocrity care of the two areas of your business where you cannot afford to except mediocrity. Number one your employees number two your vendors you. You shouldn’t, you mustn’t, you can’t. The same way that mediocrity will hurt you and serving your customers is the exact same way that mediocrity so he will hurt your bottom line in your small business. You must keep this in mind at all times mediocrity is simply not a fan of big thinkers big dreamers or big plans. Why should you accept?? We are BOTH clear that you deserve better. Listen you’re going to have employees who may not be on board with your new plans new visions your new objectives and thats OK. It’s your business.

3. No mediocrity allowed for you either entrepreneur…

Whatever you do… customer facing or employee facing… heck even when it is JUST you… don’t be half-assed. Give it 100%. Be clear. Have good intentions with every move…. thats just the beginning. There is more here. I could go on and on here about mediocrity as you approach your own business. I’ll leave it simple for this. Do exactly what you say your going to do when your going to do it. Prepare. Show up with every bit of awesomeness that you, your employees and customers deserve.
